Reservations and requests

The Reservations and Requests list allows you to have an exact situation of requests and reservations received through the bookingfor channels at a glance.

The action block allows you to:
  • create new booking proposals through the CRO Central Reservation Office
  • cancel reservations by selecting them from those in the list
  • export the contents of the list
  • create a simple payment

The filter block allows you to:

  • free text search by contact name and booking ID
  • search by merchant name, booking status, booking creation date, booking type and bookingfor channel
  • filter by request ID, merchant ID, contact ID, …
  • filter by number of results

REQUEST OR RESERVATION:we refer to the request when it is generic not defined in terms of availability, rate, conditions and price while it refers to a reservation when it is defined in terms of availability, rate, conditions and price but can still be non-binding or accepted and confirmed with different statuses (pending, accepted, deposit paid, canceled, paid).

The requests are of six types:

  • Information request: these are requests generic coming from the merchant page
  • Resource group information request: these are requests generic coming from the resource group page
  • Resource information request: these are requests generic coming from the resource page
  • Sales information request: these are requests generic from the sales resource page
  • Package information request: these are the requests generic coming from the package page (in progress)
  • Simple payment: these are the payment requests generic not linked to any resources from the Reservations and requests page

Reservations are of three types:

  • Availability requests: These are the availability requests that are fully defined in terms of resource, availability, rate, conditions and price but which are associated with a non-binding Availability Request payment. (the term availability may be misleading as the availability of the resource is always checked before showing a possible result)
  • Bookings: Bookings are fully defined in terms of resource, availability, rate, conditions and price but which are associated with a payment
  • Estimate: are the estimates fully defined in terms of resource, availability, rate, conditions and price associated with a payment from the section CRO Central Reservation Office

How to access reservations and requests:

Dashboard -> Reservations and Requests -> select request or
The booking / request personalization page will be as follows:

Select Edit Data to update the reservation according to the customer’s needs, click RECALCULATE and check the reservation data, the unit price will be displayed for each item and the Total will be displayed at the bottom of the page.

If the customer pays a deposit or part of the account, CREATE a new transaction in the Payments section

It is advisable to create a new payment entry each time this is done.

If there is a need to communicate with the guest, refer to the Messages section

Fill in the “Personal Data” section with the guest’s personal data.
