Billing cycles and plans
Some billing concepts, such as outstanding balances and automatic renewal , can be difficult to understand. These concepts are much clearer when you understand the BookingFor billing cycle. To do this, it is important to first clarify the meaning of the following two terms:
- Account anniversary: date on which you first used the BookingFor account to make a purchase at Ipertrade. This is the date on which Ipertrade creates a billing profile for the BookingFor account.
- Subscription anniversary: The date you signed up for a subscription. It is used as a renewal or expiration date depending on the billing term, usually monthly or yearly.
Ipertrade bills for a subscription on the day of the anniversary of the subscription. However, the renewal amount may not be charged until the next anniversary of the account, especially if you are using an auto-renewing credit card enabled for that subscription. In such case, the balance will be outstanding between the day the invoice is made and the day the invoice-specific payment method is charged.
For example, suppose you make your first purchase with your BookingFor account on May 5th and then sign up for a monthly subscription on June 1st. The invoice for the automatic renewal of the subscription will be issued on 1 July, but no charge will be made in the payment method for this renewal until 5 July. Between July 1st and July 5th the balance will be pending for renewal.
Below are other important concepts related to Ipertrade billing cycles:
- If you have set up automatic renewal for multiple subscriptions, you may be billed for multiple subscriptions on the anniversary of your account, even if your subscription renewal dates are different.
- Some services may issue multiple invoices between subscription anniversary dates.
- If your subscription is renewed annually, you will be notified by email prior to the annual payment deadline.
